Black History is American History

This year I decided to make a post every day in February to honor African Americans during Black History Month. I can’t pinpoint exactly why I choose to do it. Who needs a reason, really?

Anyway, these posts were originally pinned to my timeline on Facebook. At the end of first week, a couple of friends suggested I post it somewhere so it could be read again and referenced more easily. So here they are. Enjoy. If you are inspired, share your own stories celebrating people of color, for ALL of who they are, ALL of what they’ve faced (and continue to) overcome. Show your humanity. We all benefit.
